SEPC 2015

On March 26th through March 28th, the Panhellenic Executive Council and other members of the Panhellenic Council all traveled to Atlanta to attend the Southeastern Panhellenic Conference. They attended different speaker sessions including Dr. Lori Hart, who spoke at UGA's New Member Day, and Dove's Real Beauty Model Stacy Nadeau. UGA Greek Life was honored to have two of our graduate assistants, Rachel Rhodes and Alison Templeman, hold a discussion about what makes a sorority member. A large part of creating a strong Panhellenic community is done through forging relationships within a university's council but also with other schools. This year, UGA Panhellenic invited all other SEC Panhellenic councils to come together to share ideas, discuss solutions, and brainstorm new ways to make positive impacts. For UGA's Panhellenic council to bond, they have created a tradition of all gathering and eating at Maggiano's on the first night of the conference.
