Rally for a cause
Rebecca Kanaverskis just graduated after 4 years at UGA. Not only was she an active member in Sigma Kappa, but she also founded The Rally Foundation at UGA. The Rally Foundation chapter was created to raise money for childhood cancer research through fundraisers on campus. In 2011, Rebecca founded the club and has recruited over 150 members since. The club has raised $10,000 thanks to Rebecca's devotion of at leat 10 hours a week. For the past 4 years, Rebecca has been president, and her executive board will continue the club since she graduates in May. Rebecca said that "being able to make a difference for children fighting cancer made Rally at UGA worthwile to me." While she is sad to leave behind her hardwork, she knows her club is capable and determined to continue her legacy.
