Explore Athens

Annie Nichtern, a junior Kappa Kappa Gamma, is the founder and director of Explore Athens. Despite her New York roots, her passion for the South (especially Athens) has become an amazing project. She has constructed a team of 10 to write, photograph and design a website and Instagram but mostly, an experience. Fellow Kappa writers include juniors Mary Helen Callier, Maria Moraitakis and Martha Nixon alongside sophomore writer Hallie Salisbury. Explore Athens has collaborated with Broad Collective and other businesses around town to share the happiness of Athens, GA. You can find Annie also on the Executive Board of UGA Heros, studying Advertising in the Grady College or working on the blog Mommy Shorts.
