Walk for Wishes

On October 18th, Chi Omega joined Make A Wish Georgia to put on the second annual event ‘Walk For Wishes’ at Oconee Veterans Park in Watkinsville. The walk helped raise money for Make A Wish whose vision and goal is to "grant the wish of every child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy." The day consisted of multiple local wish families, Wish Ambassadors, Chi Omega, The Woman’s Swimming and Diving Team, and even Hairy Dawg! There are currently 34 children in the Athens-Clarke County region of Georgia who are waiting for their wishes to be granted! Chi Omega’s team raised over $20,000, which can grant up to four wishes in the Athens area. We cannot wait for next year!
