Alpha Omicron Pi Spotlight

Three members of Alpha Omicron Pi, Kelsey, Ashley, and Morgan, founded Cover Athens this winter in an effort to respond to the overwhelming need for blankets in the homeless community. In the picture, Kelsey, Morgan, and Ashley are standing beside the mountain of blankets that they were able to collect. They raised money and organized a blanket drive, collecting from both Greek and non-Greek associations all over the University. Last week, they joined teams with a local church to pass out the blankets, serve meals, and deliver handwritten letters to every single family there that night. In Athens-Clarke County, over four hundred people are currently without homes, and it was clear that these ladies made a huge impact with their service! We are so proud of these girls and the initiative they took to serve the community that surrounds our University.
