New Kids on Milledge

On Saturday April 30, 2016 Delta Phi Epsilon held it’s first annual Study-A-Thon event. The event took place in the Miller Learning Center and was an all day studying event, geared to help students prepare for finals. Krispy Kreme donuts and coffee was served for breakfast and Chick-fil-A was served for lunch, with lots of snacks and other goodies in between. There was also a visit from Lil’ Ice Cream Dude to help supply the sweets for the hardworking students. Not only was food involved, but several movies played throughout the day including the megahits “High School Musical” and “Legally Blonde” to help gets students’ minds off of finals. The proceeds from this event were donated to the Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation, which helps sisters of DPHIE receive higher education while also being a sister of the sorority. Recently, a scholarship was granted to a current sister of the Psi chapter at the University of Georgia! These womens' first Study-A-Thon was a huge hit and they can’t wait to raise money for their philanthropy in the near future!
