Beaded with Love
Certainly a unique UGA student, sophomore ADPi Sydney Phillips is already making an impression in the fashion and jewelry market. She grew up in North Georgia where the humble thought of making bracelets in high school for her own personal wear transformed into a company named ‘Beaded With Love.’ An immediate hit, she began using the profits from her handmade statement pieces to benefit local charities in her community.
Since then, ‘Beaded With Love’ has grown beyond the local walls of her community; however, giving back is still a large part of Sydney’s heart behind the company. She now donates a percentage of her profits to the Ronald McDonald House, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and various other charities. Not only does Sydney’s work help give back to those individuals in need, but, as she also explained, her bigger mission is to create jewelry that reminds other girls of their worth as they are each beaded with love! Sydney is using her passion and talents to spread love throughout the Panhellenic community by selling her jewelry at philanthropy events, trunk shows, and online. We could not be more proud of the work she is doing right now, or excited to see the sweet impact she will continue to have in the future!
