This month Pi Beta Phi hosted their winter philanthropy event, Classic City Skate Night. The event was at the Classic Center’s 440 Foundry Pavilion. People from all over campus came to ice skate and drink hot coco! Several, local elementary school kids also came out and enjoyed the event. The members of Pi Phi had a great time skating around hanging out with the kids! Pi Phi was raising money for their Philanthropy, Read>Lead>Achieve, and the money raised went towards their literacy fund. In total they raised $8,015.39, which means they reached their fundraising goal! Pi Beta Phi's philanthropy chair, Meghan Murphy, did a wonderful job planning the event; they could not have done it with out her!
