On August 29th, Sigma Kappa held its annual Mystic Pizza event. At Mystic Pizza every year, there is live music, t-shirts, and, of course, lots of pizza! This year Sigma Kappa had Jester perform, and they were so awesome. Everyone absolutely loved their music! Mystic Pizza is a great event for a lot of reasons. It’s a really fun way to get the year kicked off at Sigma Kappa and get everyone excited about fall semester and the start of the new school year. With live music and delicious pizza, it’s super upbeat and the perfect way to relieve some of the stress of the beginning of the year. It’s also a really great opportunity to get Sigma Kappa’s new members involved with the sorority in order to help them feel even more at home and a part of something bigger than themselves. Everyone had such a great time seeing the new members laughing together, meeting new people, and enjoying their first event of the year hosted at the house. Lastly, Mystic Pizza is a great way for us to bring people within and outside of the Greek community together. The members of Sigma Kappa were so grateful for everyone who came to the event and not only supported the sorority, but also supported the camaraderie of the UGA and Athens communities. It was amazing to see how everyone comes together and has a fun time at the event, whether it’s with their best friends or people they just met. For these reasons, Mystic Pizza means a lot to Sigma Kappa and will stick around for many, many years to come. Thank you so much to everyone who came to Mystic Pizza this year, and if you couldn’t make it this year, please come stop by next August!
