September PANhellenic Woman of the Month
September was certainly a busy month and now that it is coming to a close, it is time to announce the September 2018 PANhellenic Woman of the Month!
Because the woman comprising the Panhellenic community at the University of Georgia are involved in numerous ways around campus and the greater community, the PANhellenic Woman of the Month is a new honor that showcases these amazing sorority women. As a public relations campaign, the PANhellenic Woman of the Month is publicized on UGA Panhellenic's social media platforms, the Panhellenic newsletter and the here, on the Panhellenic blog.
Madie Moore, a member of Delta Zeta is certainly deserving of this title. As the former Delta Zeta Team Captain for UGA HEROs and the current Fundraising Chair for the organization, Madie attributes her involvement to the kids. At various events, she loves seeing the members of HEROs interact with the children, making a real difference in their lives. Madie has certainly poured her heart into UGA HEROs. Overall, Madie truly embodies a remarkable member of the Panhellenic community.
When asked about how being Greek has impacted her collegiate years, Madie says, “I love being a Panhellenic woman because I have found my home away from home in Greek life at UGA. Delta Zeta encourages us to get involved in organizations on campus and that is how I found HEROs. Being a Panhellenic woman has given me the chance to immerse myself in the communities at UGA and join organizations that have changed my life.”
Congratulations to Madie! UGA Panhellenic is extremely proud to call you a member of this community.
