November Panhellenic Woman of the Month
The fall semester is coming to a close, which means it is time to announce the November 2018 PANhellenic Woman of the Month!
Because the woman comprising the Panhellenic community at the University of Georgia are involved in numerous ways around campus and the greater community, the PANhellenic Woman of the Month is a new honor that showcases these amazing sorority women. As a public relations campaign, the PANhellenic Woman of the Month is publicized on UGA Panhellenic's social media platforms, the Panhellenic newsletter and the here, on the Panhellenic blog.
Katie Hart, a member of Delta Gamma, is honored as this month’s Panhellenic Woman. As former Delta Gamma's former VP Social Standards in 2018, a Designated Dawgs volunteer, and an avid runner,Katie truly embodies a remarkable, involved woman on campus. Specifically, in April, she will be running the Boston Marathon as a charity runner on behalf of Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, which is aligned with Delta Gamma’s philanthropy.
When asked about how being Greek has impacted her collegiate years, Katie says, “UGA Panhellenic has provided with the opportunity to meet so many motivational, inspirational and wonderful women. I am proud to be part of such a prestigious group; I have learned so much in a short four years. Through leadership development and acquisition of social skills, I have built a great network of friends and colleagues that I know will always be there!”
Congratulations to Katie! UGA Panhellenic is extremely proud to call you a member of this community.
