Sigma Kappa hosted their first annual, 'Sigma Sliders' event. Keep reading to hear about the fun night!
"Just a few weeks ago, Sigma Kappa hosted their spring philanthropy event, Sigma Sliders. This was Sigma Kappas first year hosting this philanthropy event and boy was it a blast. Gathering on the lawn of 654 Milledge Avenue were college students enjoying the delicious chili dogs, burgers, and fries from The Varsity Food Truck. With the warmer weather that had recently approached, students were able to cool down with a refreshing cone of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. Sigma Kappa was not only able to provide food, music, and fun, but raised $10,163 for the Sigma Kappa Foundation. This foundation provides scholarships to Sigma Kappa sisters all over the country, and the Epsilon Epsilon Chapter was so excited to have been able to contribute to its success. Sigma Kappa wants to congratulate Zoe Taylor, the Vice President of Philanthropy, for putting on such an amazing first philanthropy event. We cannot wait for the next round of philanthropy Zoe puts on!"
