Exec Spotlight: Katherine Tuggle

Let's catch up with the Panhellenic Council's Vice President of Recruitment, Katherine Tuggle! This summer, Katherine worked at Camp High Harbour, as a Program Director for the Leader-In-Training (LIT) program! As her eleventh summer at camp, Katherine looks forward to returning each year. The highlight of Katherine's summer was getting to spend time on the lake with my LITs and coworkers at camp! Every three weeks they all went on a rafting trip on the Oconee River with all of the LITs and it was so much fun spending down time with them. Also, Katherine says "the 4th of July at camp is easily my favorite day of the year!"

With Panhellenic Recruitment starting in only THREE days, Katherine's main focus has certainly shifted from camp to recruitment! Katherine is so excited for all of the PNMs to arrive and cannot wait for them all to meet their Gamma Chi’s and find a home here in Athens! In terms of advice, Katherine encourages the PNMs to not take Panhellenic Recruitment too seriously. She adds, "Recruitment can sound stressful or scary, but it is actually so much fun and so exciting! Remember to be yourself and to have fun with their conversations!"

In these next few weeks, it is safe to say you can find Katherine in the Greek Life Office or somewhere on Milledge Avenue, facilitating Panhellenic Recruitment. After Bid Day passes, Katherine can often be found at Athens Church or Dawson Hall!
