Gameday Style
Saturdays in Athens are BACK! Gameday styles are essential for all college gals, especially here at The University of Georgia! From black dresses and red lipstick to sassy flare jeans and a crop top, various types of fashions are shown on a gameday in Athens. Some of the sweet girls of Alpha Omicron Pi, Olivia, Libba, Kathleen and Reilley all sported their own style these past few Saturdays, and were all ready to support the dawgs and not only be comfortable, but also chic!
Olivia and Libba:
Olivia’s look is a more of a simple look, but incorporates her brassy attitude. She paired this black off-the-shoulder shirt with a black skirt to create a ~black dress~ ora, while keeping her outfit comfortable and clear for game day. Her AOPi button and red bracelet incorporates all of the UGA colors. Libba’s look is a perfect combination of edgy and comfortable for a gameday. She paired her black jean skirt with a comfortable black top to create that same ~black dress~ ora Olivia was going for. She paired her red, stacked tassel earrings with this look to pull the outfit all together, and to add Georgia red to her outfit, of course!
Kathleen:
Kathleen’s look ranges more towards a bohemian, comfortable outfit. She paired a black and pink floral tassel fringe top with a pair of white shorts to pull all the essential UGA colors together. These comfy black sandals are a necessity for gameday, and perfect to walk miles upon miles into Sanford Stadium. Kathleen is also sporting a trendy clear crossbody, in order to take her essential into the stadium with the new "Clear Bag Policy" in full effect this season.
Reilley:
Last but not least, our one and only fashion blogger Reilley (check out her blog at Copycat That) paired her favorite black and white plaid crop top with her black envelope skirt to incorporate Georgia colors to support her dawgs. This black envelope skirt is essential for EVERYONE’s closet–it is sassy in the front, and then has shorts in the back to keep it comfortable and easy to walk around all day.
After all, when was the last time you walked down Milledge Ave. on a Saturday in Athens and didn’t see a stylish outfit?
