Pi Phiesta

November 14, 2017

A couple of weeks ago, Pi Beta Phi, had their annual Pi Phiesta! This event is held on the lawn of 886 South Milledge and this year Pi Phi was fortunate enough to have amazing weather. The sisters served unlimited tacos and queso with a smiling face to everyone that came through. Athens very own Tuten Brothers played on our steps and we all danced around. The event went off with a bang because the Vice President of Philanthropy, Meghan Murphy, did a flawless job planning. Pi Beta Phi raised $8,100 to benefit Read.Lead.Achieve, which is their literacy fund. All of this money goes to helping end children’s illiteracy. Pi Beta Phi wants to thank everyone that came out and made this event wonderful!
