Pi Beta Phi Takes on College Weekend

On the weekend of January 27th and 28th, four members of Pi Beta Phi’s executive board traveled to St. Louis to Pi Beta Phi’s annual College Weekend retreat. Chapter President, Carina Sauter, VP of Member Development, Kylie Humphries, VP of Membership, Sam Kalter, and VP of Administration, Kristin DiSalle, represented the Georgia Alpha Chapter at a conference of 200 chapters. This is a packed weekend full of Pi Beta Phi traditions and sisterhood. These four members had the opportunity to meet members from all over the nation and further develop their leadership skills.

Vice President of Member Development, Kylie, explained that her favorite part of College Weekend was, “sitting at a table surrounded by other VPMDs from every SEC University, and seeing how those chapters instill the six Pi Phi core values into their members.” Each exec member that attended the conference was placed in a group of six girls that holds their same position with their own respective chapters. Within these groups, each member learned new tactics to help further develop their leadership skills. These qualities are highly valued within the Georgia Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi.

In addition to meeting active chapter members from across the country, the GA Alpha exec members also had the opportunity to meet and network with Alumnae from across the nation! This was such a special time, especially when one of our active members met an Alumni from the UGA chapter. Overall, this weekend was very successful for the four Georgia Alpha Pi Beta Phis that attended College Weekend. We are so excited to see how they implement their new skills into our chapter!
