Saturday in Athens
Football season is finally here, and Georgia football is an event everybody loves, especially the Pi Phis! Pi Beta Phi could not be more excited to cheer on their beloved Georgia Bulldogs this season! To Pi Phi, a Saturday in Athens is much more than just a football game, game day is a chance to spend time with sorority sisters as they participate in game day traditions together. These traditions are what Pi Phi is most looking forward to as football season commences. Before the game begins, Pi Phis enjoy dressing up for games, spending the day in the Classic City, then heading to Sanford Stadium together. There is no shortage of traditions you will find the Pi Phis taking part in. From the Dawg Walk, to Calling the Dawgs and ringing the Chapel Bell after a victory, you are sure to find a Pi Phi! To Pi Beta Phi, no game day is complete without their traditions and their sisters!
During the game you can find the Pi Phis in the student section. The enthusiasm in the stands is incredible! This energy is why they love game days. The feeling of Athens on game day is contagious, and there is a feeling of unity between all of the Georgia football fans. All the Dawg fans are getting excited for the game, no matter how big or small. This energy is especially found in the student section between the hedges. Pi Phis join together with their sisters and fellow students to create this game day excitement! Win or lose, Pi Phi loves game days in Athens! There really is nothing like football season in the Classic City!
