October Panhellenic Woman of the Month
October has come and gone, which means it is time to announce the October 2018 PANhellenic Woman of the Month!
Because the woman comprising the Panhellenic community at the University of Georgia are involved in numerous ways around campus and the greater community, the PANhellenic Woman of the Month is a new honor that showcases these amazing sorority women. As a public relations campaign, the PANhellenic Woman of the Month is publicized on UGA Panhellenic's social media platforms, the Panhellenic newsletter and the here, on the Panhellenic blog.
Kate Kostel, a member of Gamma Phi Beta, is honored as this month’s Panhellenic Woman. As a 2018 Gamma Chi, the Director of Fundraising on UGA Relay for Life’s Executive Board, a UGA Honors student, a Dean William Tate Honor Society member and an active Shop with a Bulldawg member, Kate truly embodies a remarkable, involved woman on campus.
When asked about how being Greek has impacted her collegiate years, Kate says, “Being a part of the Panhellenic system is amazing because of the community; everyone I have met is extremely positive and encouraging! Whether it be supporting others in their extracurricular involvement, celebrating each other’s accomplishments, or giving a friendly smile on campus, the Panhellenic system and everyone within truly radiate happiness.”
Congratulations to Kate! UGA Panhellenic is extremely proud to call you a member of this community.
