Now that February has come to a close, it is time to announce the February 2018 PANhellenic Woman of the Month!

Because the woman comprising the Panhellenic community at the University of Georgia are involved in numerous ways around campus and the greater community, the PANhellenic Woman of the Month is a new honor that showcases these amazing sorority women. As a public relations campaign, the PANhellenic Woman of the Month is publicized on UGA Panhellenic's social media platforms, the Panhellenic newsletter and the here, on the Panhellenic blog.

Riley Muse, a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, is certainly an involved member in the UGA community. As the President of PRSSA, Riley is responsible for planning, organizing and leading all chapter meetings, managing the executive board and acting as the liaison between UGA PRSSA and its parent chapters. Riley notes that she feels honored to be a part of the largest chapter of PRSSA! In addition, Riley is highly involved in Arch Society. Students in Arch Society serve the University of Georgia as official hosts and goodwill ambassadors at various campus events.

Aside from her involvement on UGA’s campus, Riley has also applied her impressive skill set in the professional realm. As an intern at Coca-Cola throughout summer 2017, she had numerous opportunities to expand her horizons and gain real-world experience.

Overall, Riley says, “I truly love the University of Georgia with my whole heart! There's something magical about UGA; the school is always alive and buzzing with excitement and opportunity, and the second you step foot on campus you just know you're home. One of the biggest things that helped such a big school feel so small and comfortable for me was UGA Panhellenic. My sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, has given me a community of strong, smart, talented women to lean on and learn from along with friendships that I know will last a lifetime. I can say with full honesty that I wouldn't be the person I am today without UGA and without Theta!”

We are beyond proud to honor a woman as remarkable as Riley!
